Jimmy Lee Miller

Jimmy Miller is President and CEO of Censere Consulting. Reared by a single mother, Jimmy grew up extremely poor in a small town in Alabama. His extended family, including his grandmother, seven aunts, five uncles, and a host of town elders, made sure he pursued his education. Although his mom and many in his family could not read or write, they impressed upon him the value of hard work and knowledge for success in life. Jimmy excelled in school and was admitted to Berea College, a small liberal arts school in Kentucky that charges no tuition and requires each student to work. In this environment, he was supported by faculty, administration, and employees, enabling him to obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Peter J. Wood

Since 1990, Peter has been a Connecticut-based development professional focused on the development and financing of mixed-income residential communities throughout the east coast.

As the founding Executive Director of Stamford-based Mutual Housing Association of Southwestern Connecticut, Peter served this not-for-profit development organization for eight years in which five communities were developed accessing both public and private financing.

Vincencia “Vee” Adusei

Vincencia Adusei is the President of VASE Management, which focuses on Construction Management and Real Estate Development. Vincencia grew up in a construction Family in Ghana, West Africa. She often states that she was happiest growing up when her parents, who ran a construction company in Ghana specializing in road work, would let her sit in the company pickup truck's bed and go out to a job. Her parents overcame tremendous obstacles to succeed in a newly formed nation. Vincencia learned her grit and perseverance from watching her family strive for excellence no matter the challenge. Most of her siblings has also gone into construction in Ghana.
